Oli Steadman
Stornaway, co-founder & CTO at Tigmus
Oli is a British-South African music producer, touring musician, and founder of music-tech startup Tigmus. His main band Stornoway released albums on 4AD, PledgeMusic and Cooking Vinyl whilst collaborating with some of the biggest names in music, form Bon Iver to Gil Norton (Foo Fighters, Pixies)... before their 10-year anniversary and Farewell Tour this March. Oli was an early booker for Sofar Sounds, founding the Oxford, Birmingham, and South UK branches; with his own agency Tigmus he has set up a digital platform for musicians to book their own concert tours. Tigmus uses big data to help artists grow their tour revenue; regular customers range from emerging acts playing their first gigs, to established international stars like Sam Lee and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. When not coding & running the business side, Oli tours with side-project fusion group Count Drachma, playing traditional Maskanda folk styles from his home country.
